fitness equipment, weight loss Recently I have been looking for alternative ways to break a sweat. Using the fitness equipment in the nearby gym works great but it can be nice to get outside in the fresh air for a workout. With Southern California temperatures dropping to the lower 70s during the day, at least in my area it is becoming the perfect time to go hiking or play games like disc golf. Sitting in a gym can be tedious but when I’m out in the great outdoors doing something active, the last thing on my mind is finishing that rep or burning enough calories. I think that is the key to keeping a consistent workout regimen.

Keeping things interesting does a lot for weight loss and staying in shape. With some of the hiking gear I have been finding online, it isn’t a very expensive way to stay active either. Until finding a new network of trails nearby I had no idea there was a place with such great views so close to where I live. You can’t beat finding new places, getting in weekly exercise and having fun all at once which is why I suggest taking the fitness equipment outdoors.
