fitness equipmentRecently, I have gotten into walking as a workout.  It is a low-impact workout that doesn't hurt my back, and it requires no special fitness equipment.  That makes it an inexpensive workout for sure.  All I need is a good pair of walking shoes.  My husband has started walking with me too, and really enjoys it as well.  It's a good way to get in shape and tone up the legs without investing in a bunch of fitness equipment.  It's actually a great way to relieve stress and feel more energized as well.  I have been under a lot of stress lately, and walking has helped a lot.  If I had to put money into fitness equipment, that would just add to my stress, and I sure don't need that right now.  I got new shoes for walking and can walk even further now with no pain.  I love that walking has so many great benefits.  It's great for the heart and for the leg muscles.  I love to walk to improve my health and fitness.
