I did something this week I'm so proud of. I hired a personal trainer to help me with my weight loss efforts. I've used a trainer before and it really does work for both exercise techniques and personal support, so I thought I'd do it again. We met yesterday and the first thing he did was test my body fat and make a record of it on the Fattrack Pro Digital Body Fat Tester shown here. It's quite a unit. I've never seen one of these before, and was very curious about it. He told me about the features on it, so I decided I'd like to have one myself for the whole family. I wrote down the name of it and the site where he got his. I found it and ordered it so now we can all keep track of our weight loss efforts, along with our fitness quotient.
Nothing motivates like success, so when I get this, I'll set up a spread sheet for each of us and we'll be able to see our progress. We decided to buy some fitness equipment instead of joining the gym because we wanted to have 24/7 access to the fitness equipment without having to go anywhere. Body fat composition is important to know as we go down the road to better health, so having these digital calipers will give us all an idea of where we stand and what it's going to take our goals of lowering our body fat into the healthy range. I found them at Healthy Choice USA at http://healthychoicesusa.com/, a site with a lot of good products for good health.
These calipers do more than just measure body fat, which is why I found them so intriguing when my trainer used them with me. We can put 50 profiles in this unit and besides measuring body fat, it will also tell us what our lean muscle mass is, too. I find that feature to be the best one because it will encourage us to keep working out for weight loss and increasing our muscle mass. It also will keep the three most recent measurements for each person. Combining that with our original body fat composition spread sheet, we will get some positive reinforcement by using the Fattrack Pro Digital Body Fat Tester.
Once we get started, we'll start feeling much better by using our fitness equipment, and as I learn from my trainer, I'll pass it on to the rest of the family. I'm really looking forward to the increased endorphins I'll experience by working out, and the weight loss will be good, too. We want to start the weight loss habit while it's still nice enough to be outside. Once the summer heat kicks in, we'll feel a little less motivated to use the fitness equipment because the house will be hotter, but if our brains get used to the endorphins by the time the AC has to come on, we'll be much more likely to stay with the program.
