nutrition health

I'm trying something new this year. I'm keeping a journal for my nutrition health. My goals are as follows: eat healthy and eat more fresh and raw food. It's so easy to rely on fast food restaurants to make my food. I'm going to make an effort to eat at home and prepare my own meals. If I don't, then there are a few locations that I'm willing to eat out at; however, these restaurants maintain high standards in being healthy.

Having a nutrition health journal has been helpful in providing me accountability. I feel as if I think twice every time I think about deviating from my diet. Sure, it's okay to splurge every now and then, but it's so easy to turn one splurge into a lifestyle of eating fatty foods.

A nutrition health journal includes the foods that I've been eating and a calorie counter to record how many calories I'm having per day. Though I once was against calorie counters, I'm going to give it a try and commit to writing down quantitative data on my eating habits. Basically, I'm making an experiment on myself concerning my own nutrition health.
