Kickboxing is a high energy workout. It teaches self defense moves in a cardio based routine. I have found kickboxing to be a great change to my regular workout game plan. Plus with this dynamic cardiovascular alternative l have experienced weight loss!
Shall I sign you up? The kickboxing workout combines a variety of martial arts movements. I have seen improvement in my body tone, muscle strength, balance and flexibility. The movements are powerful. The student uses their legs and arms throughout the routines. They start out fast and then slow and smooth. There is an emphasize on breathing. The varied muscle movements have definitely gotten me in shape with the added bonus of some weight loss.
For me the kickboxing workout has meant a firmer core, stronger mental focus and weight loss. The combination of moves has added a different kind of structure to my regular workout. Anything that I can do to keep my weekly fitness game plan interesting has got to be a good thing. Well, it looks like it is that time. I have got to go, time for class! |
