nutrition health, weight loss

My husband has been to the Doctor recently for an annual exam. The blood tests came back with some disturbing news. Nothing extremely bad but some eye openers that are requiring him to make some nutrition health changes. The first things he eliminated from his diet was the daily stops for french fries, cheeseburgers, pizza and soda. He has been taking his breakfast and lunch from home.

Things included in my husband's new nutrition health diet are fruit smoothies, oatmeal, oranges, bananas, apples, granola bars and a low sugar, high fiber cereal with soy milk. With these small changes alone he has experienced some weight loss already. He has another Doctor's appointment next month. The hope is to have lowered some of those scores from the recent blood test. The weight loss is a bonus and not at all a bad thing.

I am so proud of my husband as his sticks to this new nutrition health program. I know it is not easy for him. We have agreed that one day a week he can slide off the wagon and eat whatever he wants. Together we splurge on fries or pizza but then we resume good nutrition health the remainder of the week. It is a game plan that works for us!
