Believe it or not, weight loss is more about the mind than body. There are so many qualities common in people who have successfully completed a weight loss program. These qualities include determination, focus, motivation and consistency. These qualities are not found in the body, but rather in the mind.

One such way to inspire such qualities is through the power of affirmations. Many people apply affirmations to their day-to-day lives as a way to remind ourselves of our goals. Affirmations help us refocus our attentions. They help motivate us. They bring determination to light. Also, doing consistent affirmations may help us with our consistent weight loss.

I always start my day with a solid affirmation for weight loss. An affirmation means nothing unless it is combined with feeling. So, when I state my affirmations, I look at myself in the mirror. I become my own personal trainer. I have to inspire myself. Some affirmations may include:
