fitness equipment, weight lossI have a preteen step-granddaughter called Alisha and my husband and I are raising her. She is at that age where weight loss becomes an issue for some girls. Fortunately for Alisha she is very slim because she’s an active kid and her pap and I do not let any of our grandkids eat too much junk food or candy. What’s more Alisha is now exercising with me three nights per week. I showed her how to use my fitness equipment just recently. I am talking about fitness equipment like an exercise ball, stepping machine, dumbbells and ankle weights. Alisha asked about using my fitness equipment because she sees me doing it to keep my body toned. I would far rather that Alisha and I exercise with my fitness equipment and provide the example by eating eat sensibly than have her get into any of the ridiculous and sometimes dangerous fad diets that seem to be so popular with young people these days. My philosophy is that when a female is hungry she should eat until her hunger is satiated. The trick is to eat sensibly and exercise regularly.
